WATCH AND ACT TO PRESERVE THE HARMONY OF A PATCHWORK OF TERROIRS
Planted between 2000 and 2007, all the vines (14 ha/34 acres) are trellised and trained using the Royat method. The density is of 5000 plants per 2 acres.
The vineyard itself consists of six varieties spread over 19 parcels and sub-parcels, divided according the sun exposition and the soil geology.
The vineyard work is the first step into the search of the highest quality, as well as the willingness to preserve this protected environment. The fourteen hectares of vines, as well as the entire estate, are cultivated in an environmentally responsible manner. This commitment – written in the DNA of the winery Terres d’Hachène – is now certified by the Organic Farming label since 2017.
This division in parcels and sub-parcels allows us to harvest, than vinify the grapes, according to the method of the parcellar vinification. This way every terroir can express itself, from the vine to the wine.
